Andrew Ellinas founded Sandfords to serve the Highgate area in 1985, proudly placing his mother’s maiden name on his new company’s signs, and has steered the company through two property slumps to become the major force in Marylebone and Regent’s Park. Although Andrew has always been intimately involved in property, he has a wide range of experience and expertise. He graduated in law in the 1970s, but then spent a decade working as a presenter and producer in the then fledgling commercial radio including a two year stint presenting the breakfast show at London’s Jazz FM. Andrew is passionate about the Regent’s Park and Marylebone areas and knows it better than anybody, both on the residential and commercial property sides. But he still finds time to indulge his love of radio, regularly broadcasting at Silverstone including the British Grand Prix and other motor racing events. He is a member of Mensa and has always loved participating in sports including skiing, tennis and scuba diving.

After a stint as a futures trader in the City, James Light moved into the new homes market working as an area sales manager for a national house builder. This was followed by a move to the commercial property sector working for a firm of chartered surveyors. In 1994 he was introduced by a mutual friend to Andrew Ellinas and the rest is history. The two went into partnership to open the first Regent’s Park office of Sandfords in Ivor Place later that same year. James' experience in new home and commercial property brings a depth of experience to Sandfords that sets them apart from the usual run of agencies. A big fan of the beautiful game, James supports West Ham United and manages the Alexandra Park Under-13s football team.

Tim Fairweather started his property career in his teens in 1987 within Hertfordshire before moving to Marylebone almost 20 years ago. After several years gaining experience with local firms he set up on his own residential sales agency in 2002, Sturridge Fairweather. Tim brought his tremendous expertise and knowledge of the Marylebone market to Sandfords when he set up the Marylebone office in 2006. Tim is passionate about sport and spends a considerable amount of time out cross country running around Chorleywood where he lives or in and under his classic British sports car – an immaculate Austin-Healey 3000.

Few people have more experience of the north London property market than Spencer Botchin. He worked through the 1980s property boom and subsequent bust with Talbot's Estate Agents, first in Hendon and then as branch manager in Palmers Green and Edgware. Spencer then moved south to manage branches of Kinleigh Folkard and Hayward in Marylebone and St John's Wood. In 2009 Spencer returned to Marylebone and Regent's Park, the area he loves and is completely passionate about. Spencer's wide experience and deep local knowledge have made him something of a property guru, and he has featured in many articles in the local and national press and radio.

After working for accountancy practices for 8 years and qualifying as Chartered Certified Accountant with UHY Hacker Young in Nottingham, Lin moved to London to join a large independent property investment company in 2009.  Lin has recently been appointed as the Financial Controller for Sandfords and looks forward to contributing to the continued success of the company.  Originally from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Lin speaks fluent Malay and is passionate about food.  In her free time she does Bikram yoga and explores London.  She loves trying new things - she has scuba dived, bungee jump, sky dived and ran (walked) marathons.

Lyndi Persaud moved from her home town in Bath to attend theatre school in the Barbican, London. After a long stint in the West End and television, Lyndi moved into property, just by chance. Working for an estate agent in Belsize Park and Hampstead gave her the taste for estate agency and enthused her passion for property. After managing one of their North London offices Lyndi took a couple of years out before returning to agency. She then went to work within the Clerkenwell and Bloomsbury market place for four years before moving across to Sandfords in early 2012 in search of a new challenge.

James Campbell-Clause spent a number of years selling property on the Wentworth Estate while enjoying the benefits of the location for a round or two of golf. In 2006 he made his move to the London scene and joined Sandfords in their newly opened Marylebone office. Since then James has spent time working in Tokyo and in a number of media agencies before finally deciding his real passion lay with property and came back to Sandfords to join our Regent's Park sales team.   Outside of work, he enjoys an active lifestyle and visits the gym and boxes regularly.  He also has a great interest for African wildlife art and antique maps.

After attending a well respected public boys school in Twickenham, Daniel studied business and finance at Richmond College. He started his property career in Richmond upon Thames followed by two years in Claygate/Hinchley Wood and widened his experience by moving to a well known agency in Fulham, gaining an excellent reputation in the local market and cultivating strong ties with corporate relocation agents, developers and high net worth individuals.  Regularly retained for bespoke property searches, Daniel's personal and attentive service is valued by all his clients.  Daniel's ambition to move to central London to the prime area of Regents Park has been realised with his appointment by Sandfords.  In his spare time Daniel regularly attends his gym, socialises and enjoys the London life.

Heather started her lettings career in 2002 after travelling and working overseas for two years. Starting at a small independent agent in North London she set her sights on central London, working for prestigious agents in Notting Hill, Marylebone and Belgravia. A career move to Project Management for new offices for a national agent was curtailed by the 2008 downturn, but brought her back to central London market and the pacy world of lettings.  A former sports teacher and actress, Heather swims, cycles or walks every day (surfing in the summer) and has written and directed several short films.

Sinead Gallagher spent some of her younger years in Ireland where her family originates, she was born in South London and spent seven years dancing for Italia Conti and Pineapple Studios.  After College Sinead started working in the city for a fashion photography company as front of house.  During this time she was also working in front of the camera modeling for a number of things.  After two years in this field she decided to explore a part of the world and took herself around several islands in Greece.  After 4 months spent doing this, she released her passion for meeting new people and arrived back to London.  Always having an eye for property and an ambition to one day work in this field, the perfect opportunity arose for a front of house placement in a prestigious London office working for a dedicated team of professionals.

Julia Garber started her property career when she returned to work part-time after the arrival of her children. She ran a successful lettings department for an independent agent in Mayfair specialising in short lets to Americans seconded to London. The backlash from the 9/11 attack closed the agency, but her can-do attitude is shown by her taking the lettings business over and running it from home while her children grew up. In 2005 she returned full time to run a large lettings department covering most of the West End, and in 2007 joined Sandfords to head the lettings department.

Michael comes from a long line of property professionals – his great grandfather founded a firm of surveyors in West London in the 1930s and when Michael joined the firm in 1991 he was working with both his father and grandfather. Over eleven years he rose from sales negotiator to director, implementing a highly successful rebranding and expansion, as well as starting an offshoot company specialising in new computer technologies for estate agency. Eventually, the firm was sold and Michael worked for a variety of agents in London and helping nationwide estate agency Savills to expand in the prime Midlands area. After a couple of years travelling the world from Nicaragua to New Zealand, Michael is now back home in London. In his spare time he continues with his twin passions of photography and scuba diving – once upon a time he was an instructor and shark feeder in the Bahamas.

Pamela became an estate agent in 2004, working in Notting Hill and Chiswick.  In 2007 she decided to take the opportunity to study law and gained a scholarship to attend BPP Law school to complete the Legal Practice Course.  After careful consideration, Pamela decided her passion for property far outweighed her desire to pursue a career in law.  Pamela joined Sandfords in Marylebone looking for a new challenge and to raise and strengthen her profile as an agent.  In her spare time Pamela enjoys cooking for dinner parties, running, spinning and travelling.

Tony started his career in property in 2005 with a boutique agency in the West End and helped set up a successful lettings department, with a background in hospitality he brought this experience with him to offer his clients a high level of customer service leading to a nomination for Lettings Agent of the year in 2009. In his free time he enjoys challenging himself both mentally and physically by taking part in adrenaline sports like Enduro Mountain biking and sports climbing.

Jacqueline started her career in 2010 with the largest estate agency group in Berkshire and Hampshire. Keen to move away from a large corporate agency, she has hit the ground running in Marylebone and has spent time supporting Julia Garber in the new Primrose Hill office where she enjoyed the village atmosphere. Having worked in the two offices, Jacqueline is keen to expand her knowledge of lettings and thrives off the competitive market that brings new challenges everyday.

Helena left high school and went to college to study beauty therapy. She decided that the beauty business was not for her and started a job as an administrator for a large chain of estate agents in Essex where she remained for two and half years. She moved to West End agent in 2008 before joining Sandfords in our Marylebone office. Outside work, Helena enjoys going out and socialising with friends, going on holidays and music festivals.

Ricky Dengel was born and bred in Maida Vale, and has spent the last 15 years working in some of the most prestigious areas of north west London including Hampstead and Belsize Park, with a break of a year to travel round the world indulging his passion for diving. Ricky was involved in the successful launch of a new estate agency practice in London’s northern suburbs before returning to his home patch with Sandfords.

Stephanie started her career in property with the largest estate agency group in Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire where she helped to open a new branch and became an assistant manager in the Head Office.  Before this she studied art, design and photography at college and had a four year spell in the Spanish sunshine where she opened a bar, sold some of her art work and managed some properties.  Her itchy feet brought her to London and in joined Sandfords in 2011.

Kimberley was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand and moved to London mid 2012 to pursue her overseas experience.  Since leaving high school she has worked in various administrative roles whilst studying Interior Design in 2008 and Beauty Therapy in 2010.  Always having had an interest in property and enjoying front of house roles she joined the Primrose Hill office of Sandfords as our receptionist/secretary.  In her spare time she likes to travel, try her hand at art and spend time with friends.

Ellie was born and grew up in Islington but moved to Cheshire where she was working for a high profile interior design and property magazine.  A move to East Sussex in 2004 saw the start of her career in the lettings industry and was running the lettings and property management department for a successful independent firm in Hove.  Her move to Sandfords follows her drive to want to return to Central London and work in a more competitive market that would challenge her further. Ellie heads up the Sandfords Property Management office in Marylebone Village.

Natalia was born and raised in North London and moved to Portsmouth for three years to complete her Business Studies degree.  After completing university she started her property career in Kensington in 2010 for a small agency.  Wanting to work in a busier environment and a new challenege she joined Sandfords as our Property Management and Lettings Administrator in 2012.   In her spare time Natalia likes to attend music festivals and spending time with friends and family.
